Overview

A lovely family of five in Tribeca is seeking an afternoon nanny to assist with their two daughters, ages 4 and 6. The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday, 12-7pm, with some availability for occasional date nights. The family has a newborn as well, who has her own nanny.

Responsibilities

• Picking up children at school and transporting them to playdates and extracurriculars
• Researching and scheduling activities
• Providing an engaging and enriching environment
• Children's laundry and child-related tidying and organization
• Helping with homework
• Supervising meal, hygiene, and bedtime routines
• Coordinating with a busy but involved stay at home mother

Qualifications

• Camp counselor energy- fun and upbeat
• Experience with school-aged children
• Team player- able to work with parents and other staff
• Proactive and able to manage time while the children are in school
• Potentially willing to travel to the Hamptons during the summer- this not required

Requirements

• Covid vaccinated and wiling to get yearly flu shots
• US work authorization

Salary and Benefits

• $30-40/hr.
• Potential for health stipend
• 2 weeks PTO and paid holidays
