Job Description

Responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. May handle cash and collect payment for parking fee. Job Functions include taking numbered tags from guests, locating vehicles, delivering vehicles, or providing guests with instructions for locating vehicles; keeping parking areas clean and orderly; directing motorists to parking areas or spaces; patrolling parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and thefts; parking and retrieving automobiles; greeting guests and opening car doors; calculating parking charges and collecting fees; issuing ticket stubs or placing numbered tags on windshields; lifting, positioning, and removing barricades; inspecting vehicles for damage; participating in the venue’s sustainability program; partnering with band members to close the venue including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment; and other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor. Qualifications include one-year previous guest service experience preferred, excellent communication skills, ability to walk constantly and sit occasionally, well-groomed appearance, preferred experience as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver, valid driver’s license with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years, and a high school diploma/GED preferred.
