Job Title: Welder A Location: Pascagoula, MS, US Position Level: Non-Executive Job Type: Full Time General Function: Primary Responsibility: Welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities: Material Knowledge: Utilizes knowledge of the working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, including the specifications of the equipment to be used in the welding process. Tank Testing: Performs tank testing and associated duties as required. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Welding Proficiency: Ability to pass a welding test in the overhead and vertical positions, based on the certifications being sought. Desirable Experience & Training: Experience/Training: Prior experience as a welder or vocational training in welding is acceptable.
