About the Role

The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their Center for Career & Talent Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students at the Davis College of Business become prepared for both their careers and life beyond academia. This includes fostering an innovative culture of career advising, assisting students in exploring diverse career pathways, and supporting the development of essential job search skills such as resume writing, cover letters, and interview preparation. The role also involves collaborating with academic and industry partners to identify and create opportunities for internships and full-time employment. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have an advanced degree or equivalent experience, with a background in advising and coaching college students on various career-related topics. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in engaging students from diverse backgrounds and possess strong presentation and communication skills. A growth mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role requires expertise in various software programs and a high level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in a college or university career center, student success operation, or early talent recruiting program is preferred, along with the ability to cultivate relationships with faculty, alumni, and industry partners.
